Milieukino
MuseumsQuartier, Courtyard 8, Museumsplatz 1, 1070 Vienna
The MILIEU KINO is a project of Max Kaufmann, director of the Odeon Theater. The cinema is located in a specially converted truck. With just a flick of the wrist, the back of the truck's cargo box becomes a foyer with a box office and bar. With neon signage and poster display cases on the outside and 15 upholstered folding chairs on the inside, the cinema lacks nothing familiar from traditional movie theaters. Spontaneously installable and unmissable, it creates attention and thus becomes a meeting point for a diverse audience.
For the duration of the 21st edition of VIENNA SHORTS, Milieukino moves to MuseumsQuartier, Haupthof, where, among other things, political programs are shown and all competition programs are repeated for a reduced admission fee of € 5.
