The Filmakademie has been an indispensable innovative training ground for filmmakers and television professionals since its founding 70 years ago. The international recognition received by the current faculty (including Michael Haneke, Wolfgang Murnberger, Wolfgang Thaler, Götz Spielmann, among others) is followed by numerous awards and prizes won by students.
In its 21st edition, the Film Academy serves as the venue for the Industry Events.
