The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which has been considering our winning films for the Oscars since 2016, has changed its admission process for festivals. After an extensive application process over the summer, we have now learned that we are officially approved as a qualifying festival for another three years.

Here you’ll find a list of all festivals that can send films to the longlist. From Vienna, the main awards in the Fiction & Documentary, Animation Avantgarde, and Austrian Competition categories automatically make the list.
