With the end of the second edition of the three-month streaming festival THIS IS SHORT, the prizes in the European online competition New Point Of View were also awarded for the second time. The main prize of 4,000 euros went to Annelore Schneider and Claude Piguet for their film White Shadow (UK/CH), which, according to the jury, “points its hidden finger to a universal vision that concerns everyone in our digital age.” The second prize, endowed with 2,000 euros, went to the film How To Order Online by Julie Ramage (FR), which portrays the community spirit and creativity in a prison. The two award-winning films were selected from 23 nominated works by a jury of three experts.
