The chic must go on! Our love for the silly, the extravagant, and the downright WTF cannot be contained within four walls—and is at least as difficult to contain as a certain virus that forces us to a premiere these days.

For the first time, the late-night highlight Très chic, the oldest of all annually recurring programs and not without reason a darling of the festival audience, has to unfold its magic within our own four walls and not in the sacred halls of the Stadtkino. But rest assured: we also guarantee the contactless transmission of exquisite humor and great short films.

In the description of our curator Diana Mereoiu this sounds like this: “Expect giant butts, synchronized singing sheeps, intergalactic drinking and sweet, sweet chicken love.” And our socially distancing audience decides which of the 20 short and shortest films—including new gems by Peter Millard, Marion Pfaus and Adult Swim—wins the coveted Prix Très Chic pour le film le plus extraordinaire.
