Do you know that feeling when long-cherished plans work out well? That's exactly how we feel right now with our new streaming platform THIS IS SHORT and the Total Refusal collective. On the one hand, we're really happy for the Austrian artists' collective, which won the European Film Award in the Best Short Film category for Hardly Working in Berlin on December 9. On the other hand, we are also a little proud of our timing, because the collective has been present on the newly launched platform with four of its short films since the beginning of December—including a detailed review of the award-winning work, which focuses on the repetitive work steps of “non-player characters” in video games and thus takes a critical look at capitalism.
