Until January 5, 2024 you can again submit films for our four competition categories: Fiction & Documentary (FIDO) is dedicated to international short fiction films and documentaries, Animation Avantgarde (AA) to international animation, experimental and avant-garde films. The Austrian Competition (ÖW) is dedicated to national productions, the Austriann Music Video Award (MUVI) is awarded to the best national music video. We are looking forward to films of all genres and formats up under 30 minutes and with a completion date after January 1, 2023. Prize money of around EUR 29,000,–, qualifications for the Academy Awards, the European Film Award, the BAFTA and the Austrian Film Award—and of course our popular trophy trees—await.

Your film is a little longer, a little older, and/or fits perfectly into a specific festival section? Then we look forward to your submission for one of our non-competitive programs: In our Late Night, the spotlight is on trash (Très Chic), horror (Nightmares) and erotic films (Kinky Kino) as well as international music videos. Films for children are aimed at kids up to the age of twelve, while films for young people are aimed at children and young people over the age of twelve. Films of all genres and formats up to 45 minutes in length and with completion dates after January 1, 2022 are accepted. To the submissions.
