After two predominantly digital festival years, we were able to celebrate the (still reduced) comeback in Viennese cinemas with the 19th festival edition: 6 days with 42 screenings at five venues, 231 films on the big screen, 20 supporting programs, 3 live acts and almost 7,000 visitors. In addition, there was a sophisticated sustainability concept, for which we were officially awarded the Austrian Eco-Label by the Ministry of the Environment on July 18th. The certificate testifies to our efforts to organize a sustainable festival––ideally for eternity.
