We're thrilled to once again anchor the heart of the festival at the MuseumsQuartier. The festival hub, Room D, will host a range of activities, with the Milieukino set up in a truck at the Leopold Museum, and the open-air screen positioned in the main courtyard. In case of inclement weather, screenings will move to the Ovalhalle in the MQ, which will also serve as the venue for two live performances this year. The festival will kick off with a grand opening ceremony at the Gartenbaukino. The Stadtkino in the Künstlerhaus will feature competition and children's programs, and will host the award ceremony. Meanwhile, the METRO Kinokulturhaus will showcase competitions, focus programs, genre screenings, and the Yann Gonzalez portrait. Portraits of Jyoti Mistry and Amos Gitai will be screened at the Austrian Film Museum, while this year's Industry Events will take place at the Filmakademie Vienna, the Semperdepot, and the Depot.
