For more than ten years, the Ministry of Culture (BMKÖS) has been looking for cinematic forms of expression that go beyond conventional formats under the title “Pixel, Bytes + Film”. Once again this year, development and production funding is being offered for audiovisual projects in a transmedia and digital-innovative context. Strategies around distribution and visibility of the resulting works are also part of the funding program, among others in cooperation with the cultural broadcaster ORF III.
