After the live performance on Czechoslovakian relief dolls last Sunday, we are happy to announce further short film programs in cooperation with the Austrian Film Museum: two portraits of our online edition will be presented in the cinema in October.

This year's jury member Michaela Pavlátová will give us an insight into her multifaceted animated film work from 1987 to 2012. The short film program will be shown on Friday, October 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the highly recommended show "Animace/Animácia – 100 years of Czechoslovak, Czech and Slovak animated film" at the Film Museum. Two programs are dedicated to the French all-round talent Jean-Gabriel Périot, who has made a name for himself with documentary and found-footage work. 13 short films from the last 15 years show his feeling for political cinema as well as for rapid photo montages and music in film. On October 22 at 6:30 and 9 p.m. at the Film Museum.
