ANONYMOUS CONTACT FORM & SUPPORT HOTLINES

WE WANT EVERYONE TO FEEL AT HOME AT OUR FESTIVAL - BOTH IN THE CINEMA AND AT SUPPORTING PROGRAMS, INDUSTRY EVENTS AND PARTIES.

We have already laid down the formal framework for this in our Code of Conduct and in our Compliance Guidelines; here you will also find a collection of numbers of support points in Vienna if support is needed, as well as an anonymous contact form. A QR code to this page can also be found on notices in the toilets of the festival locations.

ANONYMOUS CONTACT FORM

The form is managed by a person who has a lot of experience in support work and is not involved in the inner core of the festival. Concerns of any kind will be treated confidentially. Any person affected by assault can remain completely anonymous in the further handling of the situation.

This contact option is for the following cases:

  • Discrimination or other violence by persons from the festival team, filmmakers, other guests of the festival or employees of the venue.
  • Problematic content or effects in film or supporting programs that have not been sufficiently pointed out
  • Request for further support after an incident at the festival (e.g. referral to appropriate agencies that can provide professional support, if a contact possibility is specified)

VIENNA SHORTS is working on a sustainable support structure that can offer support in the event of experiences of violence (discrimination, sexualized violence, etc.) during the festival. We look forward to receiving feedback on our efforts at fair@viennashorts.com.
