awareness teams

This year's festival will be accompanied by experienced awareness teams. Our teams will be present during our parties at Gartenbaukino, Celeste, and Club U, providing support to guests and artists in the event of experienced or observed discrimination. You can recognize them by their glow stick bracelets.

The awareness team is committed to listening to individuals confidentially and initially anonymously, understanding their situation, and providing advice. If requested by the affected person, the team will then inform the festival about the issue and offer guidance on possible actions. The implementation of these actions is the responsibility of VIENNA SHORTS.

This service is available to anyone who experiences, observes, or is affected by discrimination during the festival. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where respectful and equitable interactions are ensured for all festival participants. Accordingly, we encourage all visitors, guests, and partners of the festival not to hesitate to report any incidents to the awareness team or the festival team.
