Anti-Discrimination: Code of Conduct

VIENNA SHORTS is committed to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all festival participants. This Code of Conduct serves as a guide for social interaction and defines the rules for appropriate behavior at all festival venues.

Anti-Discrimination and Equality

VIENNA SHORTS rejects any form of discrimination based on ethnicity, origin, skin color, gender or gender identity, religion or religious belief, sexuality, socioeconomic class, disability, or age. It is unacceptable to tolerate hurtful language, abuse, exclusion, or offensive behavior toward other festival participants.

Non-Violence and Respect

Any form of violence, abuse, or harassment, whether verbal, physical, or sexual, will not be tolerated. Inappropriate comments, racist or sexist insults, harassment, intimidation, or unwanted physical contact are unacceptable and have no place on the festival grounds.

Respect for Personal Boundaries

It is important to respect the personal boundaries of others. In the event of a boundary violation, the affected person will be believed and their experiences taken seriously. VIENNA SHORTS will thoroughly investigate any incidents of intrusive, racist, or discriminatory behavior and respond appropriately.

Accountability and Consequences

All festival visitors, staff, and partners are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct. In case of violations of these rules, VIENNA SHORTS reserves the right to remove individuals from the festival or deny access to the festival and, if necessary, take further legal action.
