Q21 AT MUSEUMQUARTER

Q21 is a creative cluster and workplace for about 50 initiatives, associations, agencies and editorial offices from the cultural sector. Scattered over 7,000m² within the MuseumsQuartier (MQ) Vienna, Q21 tenants work in a wide variety of fields, from film and dance festivals to indie game development, art book publishing and fashion stores.

VIENNA SHORTS has been based in Q21 since 2007 and has its office on the upper floors of the baroque building. Together with Q21, we invite artists to exhibit and work in Vienna for one or two months as part of the annual Artist-in-Residence program. In 2018, our film exhibition shaping democracy was presented in the frei_raum of Q21 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Austria.
