8 reasons for the short film
1. No boring foreplay. It gets to the point right away.
2. A variation: There is no need to show everything. Nothing is wrong with half an hour of tenderness.
3. Better ten minutes of dreadfulness than ninety minutes of dreadfulness.
4. Short films are rather known. Without investing much of your time, you can become part of an intellectual elite.
5. Nobody wants to make money with it. That is why we are spared those plastic dinosaurs.
6. According to linguistics. Long-drawn-out, long-suffering, long johns; but: shortbread, short pass, short cut.
