Daniel Rakete Siegel began studying Japanese language and literature studies, philosophy and German language and literature studies at the University of Cologne in 2002. Additionally, he worked as freelance graphic artist. Since 2004, he studied film directing at the ifs - international film school cologne. In 2007, he made his diploma as Bachelor of Arts.
