Martin Brand studied German literature studies and science of art at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum and at the University of Dortmund. In 2003, he had a university teaching position at the Institute for Art of the University of Dortmund. In 2006, he was guest lecturer at the Alanus Hochschule für Kunst und Gesellschaft in Alfter / Bonn. Several single and group exhibitions.
