Fulvio Bernasconi
* 1969 in Pesci/Lugano.
After studying political science at the University of Geneva, he made his diploma as a director at the DAVI in Lausanne. In 1995, he made his debut as a director of a documentary: Voie de Garage. This film was presented at the Locarno Film Festival (and won the award of the Youth Jury) - as well as the subsequent short film Bad Trip sur Mars. His film Hopp Schwyz is part of the project ID Swiss, a documentary compilation of the young generation of Swiss filmmakers about the different cultures in Switzerland. He produced Swiss Love for the Expo 2002, an interactive experiment which was watched by more than one million people.
