Ghassan Abdallah worked as a TV producer for a long time in Syria before coming to Great Britain. He finished an undergraduate and an MA courses specialising in direction at the Northern Film School in UK. He has been working for the same school as a lecturer for many years. He also works for the National Film Organisation of Syria as a film director.
