The factory of animation is buzzing, pinions clatter, motionless objects are brought to life: Between "simple" stop-motion and highly technical 3D-figures, colours and forms beat in time to the projector’s rhythm in 24 pictures per second, between absurd shenanigans and political abstractions the high art of subtle hinting is cultivated. Nine films from seven countries whisk us away into the world of animated films. (50 min)
