Film program
The opening of the fourth edition of VIS Vienna Independent Shorts will be a diverse spectacle: from one of the winning films of this year’s Diagonale to this year’s winner of the short-film-Oscar, from soldiers at the borders of the Burgenland to soldiers in Israel, from dreams and hopes to disappointments and illusions. All this is presented in immensely varied genres such as documentary and documentary-like works, an experimental music video, a German black comedy, as well as a classic film musical, echoing not only the diversity of short films, but also that of the festival. Five excellent and exemplary works from the world of films up to the length of 30 minutes.
